Anesha Rose:

Has been gigging in Laguna since 1998. She’s an Office Manager at a Fire Protection Agency by day, musician by night. She's described as loud, funny, and affectionate and loves interacting with people. Influences in order: Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, Stevie Nicks, Heart, The Pretenders. Recordings: Self-titled EP, Music Mama. She works for hire as a studio session vocalist. Memorable Laguna gigs: After 15 years, Anesha finally shared the mic with Ron I. of World Anthem. Living Cover:

Have been covering the hits since 2014. Two of the band members are music teachers and one owns a recording studio. They play at Hennessey’s Tavern as a trio on Fri.’s & Sat.’s and as a duo on Sundays. Influences: They run the gamut from The Beatles, Green Day, Otis Redding, Weezer, Neil Diamond, Poison, Gloria Gaynor….you name it, they cover it! Recordings: Donate to the cause and take home a cover demo from their gig. Memorable Laguna gig: Lee Rocker of the The Stray Cats joined Keith’s previous band (The Shout), for an impromptu jam session at The Sandpiper.

The Heat:

They've been gigging in Laguna since the '80s and many musicians have sat in over the years. They are currently a trio and once a month they include a keyboardist. Members have pulled double duty with other bands, ie: Missiles of October, Family Style, Canned Heat, and The Righteous Brothers. Influences: Classic rock, blues rock, but their talent is so extensive they can play any genre. There are no recordings for The Heat so you have to see them live! Memorable Laguna gig: Nights are memorable at The Sandpiper when people really feel the music. They only play on Sundays so when it's a long weekend those are usually pretty fun!
